Henry VIII
Handmade from Douglas fir grown in Warwickshire and sourced from responsible forestry practices.
The Forest of Arden once surrounded the town of Stratford upon Avon, and is the setting for Shakespeare's As You Like It. This ancient woodland which stretched across the breadth of Warwickshire was said to be so dense that a squirrel could jump from tree to tree across the whole county.
Although a relative newcomer to the Warwickshire countryside, the Douglas fir tree now grows abundantly throughout the county. We have chosen it for its natural connection to Christmas.
This Douglas fir handcrafted hanging decoration will adorn the branches of your Christmas tree with a little piece of Warwickshire. There are three choices of quote, including: 'let's be merry' from Henry VIII, 'one, two, tree, four' from The Merry Wives of Windsor, and 'O, joyful day' from Henry IV, Part ii.
Complete with brass screw and natural jute twine.
Due to its organic nature, the natural shades and tones of wood may change according to external circumstances.
Size: 50 x 70 x 20mm. Weight: 32g
Designed and created in Stratford-upon-Avon
